In October, James and I had the chance to see the David Crowder*Band while they were on the Remedy Club Tour, joined by The Myriad and Phil Wickham. It was a great night of worship. David Crowder is a very insightful fellow with a heart and passion to reach those in need by spreading the goodness of God through his music. It was awesome. below | Phil Wickham led a couple of songs from his new album, Cannons. below | Crowder opened up the set with 'The Glory Of It All'.
below | He has an awesome setup for the keys, which he plays! Nice stuff.
below | Bwack with his new custom Risen drums. Beautiful!
below | The infamous Guitar Hero controller transformed by Bwack into an actual electric guitar used by Crowder on stage. After all, to make a song, you really only need 3-5 chords, if that. :D
below | Jack Parker on the banjo for 'I Saw The Light'.
below | Crowder and the other band members sang 'We Won't Be Quiet' through their megaphones. Haha. :D
below | Mike Dodson learned to play the cello for their last song, 'Surely We Can Change'. This song really hit home by reminding me that God loves us so that we can love. And, we are called to be His hands and feet in sharing this amazing love with others. "...When all the love in the world is right here among us, and hatred too, and so we must choose what our hands will do...And the problem it seems is with you and me, not the Love who came to repair everything...Surely we can change." Powerful song.
P.S. | I just found a message in my xanga inbox from several months ago [never knew I had one] and discovered a message from Pat Lim and Jenn Siu! THANK YOU, PAT and JENN for your nice little post to James and I. It's very special. We missed you, too, and we're glad you're home! (: |
